Our foremost concern is your safety. If charter operations are considered unsafe due to weather as evaluated by our certified captain, we provide adjustable options:

  • Complete Reimbursement: Full refund if rescheduling is unfeasible
  • Rebooking: Postpone your charter to an alternate date without extra charges
  • Voucher for Charter: A voucher that's valid for a year from the original charter date

Procedure for Weather Evaluation

We conduct a comprehensive meteorological assessment including:

  • Assessment of wind force and trajectory
  • Evaluation of oceanic conditions and wave elevations
  • Forecasts for visibility and precipitation
  • Notices from the Coast Guard
  • Final appraisal from our professional captain on safety matters

Decision Making Time: Conclusions on weather-related cancellations are made no later than 4 hours preceding the scheduled departure time.

Reimbursements in Medical Urgencies

Eligibility in Emergency Events

We are sympathetic to the occurrence of unforeseen health emergencies. The following are instances that may be eligible for particular consideration:

  • Unanticipated illness or accidental injury requiring hospital care
  • Passing of a close family member
  • Unexpected military summons or recalls

Procedure: The processing of emergency-related refund claims occurs within 3-5 business days upon receipt of eligible validation.

Cancellations Due to Operational Issues

Vessel Malfunctions

In the event that the yacht designated for you encounters any operational defects that are irreparable:

  • Substitute Vessel: An attempt to allocate an equivalent replacement
  • Entire Refund: If an appropriate substitute is not attainable
  • Partial Reimbursement: If the replacement comes with a different pricing
  • Compensatory Offer: Extra compensation can be considered for the trouble caused

Unavailability of Crew

In rare instances where we cannot provide certified crew members:

  • Arrangements for replacement crew will be sought
  • Full refund given if the charter cannot proceed
  • Opportunity to reschedule with no extra fees

Vouchers for future charters could be provided in lieu of refunds under specific conditions:

  • Last-minute cancellations (within 24 hours of departure)
  • Cancellations due to adverse weather
  • Voluntary requests to reschedule
  • Disruptions not attributed to the client

Conditions Applicable to Vouchers

  • Lifespan: Valid for a year post-issuance
  • Non-transferability: Exclusive to the original client, not assignable to others
  • Net Value: Covers the full expense of the charter (absent of processing costs)
  • Utilization: Applicable towards any future charters available
  • Expiry: No extensions past the 12-month limit

Reimbursements for Partial Services

Disturbances during Service

If your sea voyage is interrupted or curtailed because of issues that are within our scope of responsibility:

  • Proportionate refund relative to the unutilized duration
  • Credit equivalent to future charters of the same value
  • Additional services or upgrades offered complimentary

Interruptions Caused by the Guest

If an excursion is concluded ahead of time due to behavior of the guest or breaches of security protocol:

  • Forfeiture of refund for the remaining time
  • The full charge of the booking is still payable
  • Potential for extra costs to be incurred

In any case where you find the refund verdict to be unsatisfactory, one can:

  • Refunds are actioned in €, independent of the initial currency used for payment
  • Purchase of travel insurance is highly advised
  • This framework is subject to modifications, with a notice period of 30 days
